Delirious? Farewell Show (DVD)

Sunday 29th November five thousand fans were wedged into a sold out HMV Hammersmith Apollo, ready to see history get made as a seventeen year voyage of worship discovery drew to a close. This was the final gig for Delirious, and there could hardly have been a better celebration of all that God has done.

24 hours later, Martin Smith had this to say:
‘What can I say? It was awesome, sad, happy, definitive. One can never correctly adjudicate ones emotions at times like this but I feel at peace. I feel joy. I feel like I’ve completed an assignment.’

And what an assignment it was. A Dove Award-winning, Grammy nominated, RIAA Certified Gold-selling assignment. Delirious helped score a whole new soundtrack for the church around the world, bringing honesty, passion, intimacy and heavenly pride back to the church and beyond.

Review 24 April 2010 Rating: Posted by: Joscha Kurz great footage with very good quality, not like the "my soul sings", which has abberations and a bad mixed sound...in my personal way, i miss songs like god is smiling, it's okay and king of fools...but i'm happy about the liveversion of inside outside that hasn't been on another live record....buy it!!!!! :)

Review Miss you Delirious?! :'( 17 September 2010 Rating: Posted by: George Browne Awesome dvd! i still can't decide if it's my favourite though! it's brilliant through and through!, but having seen them in Birmingham in november on their farewell tour i can't understand why tracks like "kingdom of comfort", "it's ok" and "God is smiling" were missed out. and for the cutting edge show i would have loved to have seen "louder than the radio" on there and "there is a light". Fanastic DVD though :) I'm so glad they included jesusblood/kingorcripple/true colours :D that's probably my favourite moment :)
